Welcome to The Beachcomber Café
The very name The Beachcomber Café is evocative of sandy beaches, shingle coves,
sea shells, flotsam and jetsom, all tossed up onto the beach below. What better, than tasty food served overlooking the beautiful Plymouth Sound. Britanny ferries, Cruise Ships, Warships, Yachts and Cruisers, all passing in front of you. Sometimes, even dolphins and seals visit the bay. The Beachcomber Café is right on the South West Coastal Path - a handy stopping off point for passing walkers. Enjoy your English Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, either in the sunshine on the outside terrace, or from the larger indoor area (seating for 40 people) at the Beachcomber Café, where you can gaze across Plymouth Sound towards Kingsand in Cornwall. During the day, the Beachcomber Café has a friendly and fun beachside feel. In the evening it becomes the ideal place for a family meal, whlst watching the sun set across the Sound, and enjoying some great home cooked food.
Sunday roast lunches are served from October through to March. Please make a reservation. Childrens parties can be catered for, please ring for further information and booking. Well behaved dogs are always welcome.
